FAQs and Details for Kaiser Members

Yes! Nearly all of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and other insurance plans, for mental health services in Colorado. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment or verify coverage, call 303-986-4197 or visit our Kaiser providers page.

Our in-network providers do not require a referral or prior authorization to see Kaiser Permanente patients with Colorado-based plans. Patients with out-of-state plans and some psychiatric services may require a prior authorization. If one is needed, our team can request one on your behalf to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions about your coverage, please contact our team at info@westsidebehavioral.com for assistance.

Of course! You can browse our Kaiser provider profiles accepting new patients here. Our team is also available to help you find a therapist who meets your needs, insurance, and location. Feel free to call 303-986-4197 for phone assistance, email us at info@westsidebehavioral.com, or submit a contact form to connect with us.

Details about Workplace Issues and Job Stress

Work-related stress is one of the most frequent reasons adults seek therapy, and for good reason. The demands of modern work culture can cause anxiety, fatigue, and emotional exhaustion, especially when paired with financial pressures, rigid performance standards, or lack of autonomy. Even in jobs people enjoy, chronic stress can erode self-esteem, disrupt sleep, and make it hard to focus or feel emotionally present outside of work.

At Westside Behavioral Care, our therapists work with adults who are overwhelmed, dissatisfied, or struggling to find balance in their careers. Therapy can help clients reframe unhelpful thought patterns, develop tools for stress management, and gain perspective on difficult workplace dynamics. Sessions may also explore larger career questions, like whether to stay, pivot, or redefine success, depending on each client’s needs. Treatment may draw from CBT, ACT, mindfulness, or values-based reflection to build long-term coping skills and restore a sense of control.

We provide therapy both in person at offices throughout the Greater Denver Area and through secure online sessions for clients anywhere in Colorado. All of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and many work with additional major providers. Whether you’re dealing with a toxic work environment, burnout, or the stress of starting over professionally, help is available and closer than you think.
