Yes! Nearly all of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and other insurance plans, for mental health services in Colorado. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment or verify coverage, call 303-986-4197 or visit our Kaiser providers page.
Our in-network providers do not require a referral or prior authorization to see Kaiser Permanente patients with Colorado-based plans. Patients with out-of-state plans and some psychiatric services may require a prior authorization. If one is needed, our team can request one on your behalf to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions about your coverage, please contact our team at info@westsidebehavioral.com for assistance.
Of course! You can browse our Kaiser provider profiles accepting new patients here. Our team is also available to help you find a therapist who meets your needs, insurance, and location. Feel free to call 303-986-4197 for phone assistance, email us at info@westsidebehavioral.com, or submit a contact form to connect with us.
Westside Behavioral Care offers one of Colorado’s largest networks of mental health providers (LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, PsyD/PhDs, PMHNPs, etc) dedicated to Kaiser Permanente patients statewide. Established in 1998 with the mission of making appointment scheduling as easy and convenient as possible, Westside’s licensed therapists serve thousands of patients a year by providing supportive counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and more. Appointments are available through in-person sessions across the Denver metro area (Aurora, Lakewood, Littleton, Boulder, Arvada, etc.) and convenient online therapy statewide.
Thanks to our partnership with Kaiser, members can expect quick access to care (often in as little as 48 hours) without worrying about prior authorizations or referrals. Nearly all Westside therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, meaning you get the care you need at in-network rates. Our team will verify your benefits and share them with your therapist ahead of your first appointment so you’re fully informed going into your first session.
True to our mission, we make scheduling easy for everyone. You can choose your preferred therapist by using our scheduling tool available 24/7, call our friendly receptionists (available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm MST) at (303) 986-4197, complete one of the many contact forms on our website, or email info@westsidebehavioral.com for personal assistance. Our patient-focused approach is designed to give Kaiser members in Colorado a stress-free, positive experience.
Therapists and mental health clinicians often enter the field with deep empathy, personal insight, and a desire to help, but that same sensitivity can make the work emotionally draining over time. The cumulative weight of clients’ stories, high caseloads, and ethical responsibility can impact sleep, mood, focus, and personal relationships. Despite this, many clinicians feel hesitant to seek help for themselves, fearing judgment, dual relationships, or vulnerability in a field that rewards stoicism.
At Westside Behavioral Care, we recognize the importance of having a therapeutic space where clinicians can speak freely and be fully human. Our providers support therapists as they navigate professional stressors like burnout, overidentification, imposter syndrome, vicarious trauma, or changes in their clinical identity. Sessions may also address personal issues that are often deferred, such as grief, life transitions, relational patterns, or long-standing internal conflicts. Therapy becomes a space to slow down, process, and recalibrate outside the demands of professional performance.
Approaches may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for thought restructuring, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for navigating internal tension, or depth-oriented modalities for exploring unconscious material and longstanding narratives. Some clinicians also seek therapy during pivotal career phases, such as starting a practice, stepping into supervision, or transitioning out of direct care.
Our team offers both in-person and online sessions for clinicians throughout Colorado. Offices are located across the Greater Denver Area, and virtual appointments are available for added discretion and flexibility. All Westside Behavioral Care therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many accept additional insurance plans. If you’re ready to take time for yourself, not as a provider, but as a person, we’re here to support that work.
