FAQs and Details for Kaiser Members

Yes! Nearly all of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and other insurance plans, for mental health services in Colorado. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment or verify coverage, call 303-986-4197 or visit our Kaiser providers page.

Our in-network providers do not require a referral or prior authorization to see Kaiser Permanente patients with Colorado-based plans. Patients with out-of-state plans and some psychiatric services may require a prior authorization. If one is needed, our team can request one on your behalf to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions about your coverage, please contact our team at info@westsidebehavioral.com for assistance.

Of course! You can browse our Kaiser provider profiles accepting new patients here. Our team is also available to help you find a therapist who meets your needs, insurance, and location. Feel free to call 303-986-4197 for phone assistance, email us at info@westsidebehavioral.com, or submit a contact form to connect with us.

Details about Major Life Transitions

Major life transitions can bring up a wide range of emotional, mental, and physical reactions. Whether expected or sudden, these periods of change often affect your sense of stability, identity, and direction. Common concerns include feeling overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, isolated, or indecisive. People facing transitions such as career shifts, divorce, retirement, parenthood, or loss may find it hard to adjust, grieve, or redefine their purpose.

Therapists at Westside Behavioral Care are trained to help individuals navigate these changes with care and clarity. Using evidence-based modalities like CBT, ACT, EMDR, and mindfulness practices, they support clients in processing emotions, building resilience, and setting intentional goals. Therapy can offer a steady foundation during times of upheaval, helping you adapt, gain perspective, and feel more in control of your life path. It’s not just about managing stress, it’s about fostering growth during a period of transformation.

Westside offers therapy both in person throughout the Greater Denver Area, including Westminster, Golden, Lakewood, Thornton, and Wheat Ridge, and via secure online sessions for clients anywhere in Colorado. All therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many also accept other major insurance providers. We’re here to make therapy more accessible during the times you need it most.
