FAQs and Details for Kaiser Members

Yes! Nearly all of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and other insurance plans, for mental health services in Colorado. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment or verify coverage, call 303-986-4197 or visit our Kaiser providers page.

Our in-network providers do not require a referral or prior authorization to see Kaiser Permanente patients with Colorado-based plans. Patients with out-of-state plans and some psychiatric services may require a prior authorization. If one is needed, our team can request one on your behalf to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions about your coverage, please contact our team at info@westsidebehavioral.com for assistance.

Of course! You can browse our Kaiser provider profiles accepting new patients here. Our team is also available to help you find a therapist who meets your needs, insurance, and location. Feel free to call 303-986-4197 for phone assistance, email us at info@westsidebehavioral.com, or submit a contact form to connect with us.

Details about Interpersonal Issues

Interpersonal issues often show up as recurring difficulties in how we relate to others, whether with partners, family, friends, or colleagues. These struggles may involve conflict, avoidance, over-dependence, trust issues, or difficulty setting boundaries. You might find yourself misunderstood, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that leave you feeling lonely, resentful, or emotionally exhausted. These challenges can impact both your emotional well-being and your ability to maintain healthy relationships.

Therapists at Westside Behavioral Care help clients better understand their relational patterns and create healthier, more authentic connections. Using evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, and interpersonal therapy, our providers support you in developing emotional insight, assertive communication skills, and self-compassion. Therapy goals often include identifying unmet emotional needs, improving relationship satisfaction, increasing empathy, and building confidence in expressing your authentic self. Whether your concerns are rooted in childhood, current relationships, or social anxiety, therapy can help you reconnect in meaningful ways.

We offer in-person therapy throughout the Greater Denver Area, with offices in Lakewood, Thornton, Golden, Wheat Ridge, and Centennial. Online sessions are also available for individuals across Colorado. All Westside therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many accept other major insurance providers as well. You can search for therapists based on your specific needs, or reach out directly to our care team for help finding the right match.
