Yes! Nearly all of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and other insurance plans, for mental health services in Colorado. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment or verify coverage, call 303-986-4197 or visit our Kaiser providers page.
Our in-network providers do not require a referral or prior authorization to see Kaiser Permanente patients with Colorado-based plans. Patients with out-of-state plans and some psychiatric services may require a prior authorization. If one is needed, our team can request one on your behalf to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions about your coverage, please contact our team at info@westsidebehavioral.com for assistance.
Of course! You can browse our Kaiser provider profiles accepting new patients here. Our team is also available to help you find a therapist who meets your needs, insurance, and location. Feel free to call 303-986-4197 for phone assistance, email us at info@westsidebehavioral.com, or submit a contact form to connect with us.
Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) are specialized mental health assessments requested for legal, occupational, or insurance-related purposes. These evaluations aim to determine a person’s psychological status, clarify diagnoses, or evaluate functional limitations without the context of a therapeutic relationship. Individuals undergoing an IME may be dealing with trauma, workplace incidents, disability claims, or questions about fitness to return to work. The process can bring up feelings of anxiety or vulnerability, especially when one’s mental health is being assessed for external decisions.
At Westside Behavioral Care, therapists who provide IMEs use a structured and impartial approach grounded in clinical best practices. Our providers incorporate psychological testing, diagnostic interviews, and collateral records to create comprehensive and accurate reports tailored to the referral question. These evaluations are conducted with empathy and professionalism, ensuring clarity for courts, employers, or insurance providers while treating the client with respect. In addition to their forensic training, many of our evaluators have expertise in trauma-informed care, chronic stress, or workplace dynamics, allowing for well-rounded and credible assessments.
Westside offers IMEs both in person across the Greater Denver Area, including Denver, Thornton, Broomfield, Golden, and Centennial, and through secure telehealth sessions statewide. All IME providers are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many accept other major insurance plans.
