Yes! Nearly all of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and other insurance plans, for mental health services in Colorado. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment or verify coverage, call 303-986-4197 or visit our Kaiser providers page.
Our in-network providers do not require a referral or prior authorization to see Kaiser Permanente patients with Colorado-based plans. Patients with out-of-state plans and some psychiatric services may require a prior authorization. If one is needed, our team can request one on your behalf to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions about your coverage, please contact our team at info@westsidebehavioral.com for assistance.
Of course! You can browse our Kaiser provider profiles accepting new patients here. Our team is also available to help you find a therapist who meets your needs, insurance, and location. Feel free to call 303-986-4197 for phone assistance, email us at info@westsidebehavioral.com, or submit a contact form to connect with us.
Gambling addiction is a behavioral health concern marked by an overwhelming urge to gamble, often despite serious consequences. It can cause emotional distress, strained relationships, financial problems, and a sense of powerlessness. People experiencing gambling disorder may lie about their habits, borrow money to cover losses, or gamble to escape uncomfortable emotions. Over time, the cycle can become harder to break, especially when paired with stress, depression, or substance use.
Westside Behavioral Care therapists offer nonjudgmental, evidence-based treatment options for individuals struggling with gambling addiction. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is commonly used to help clients recognize thought distortions and develop healthier habits. Therapists may also incorporate ACT, DBT, or trauma-informed care, depending on each client’s needs. Therapy often focuses on reducing urges, building emotional awareness, improving impulse control, and restoring trust in relationships. Loved ones affected by gambling may also benefit from supportive counseling and guidance.
Therapy for gambling addiction is available in person across the Greater Denver Area, including Denver, Broomfield, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, and Centennial, and through secure online sessions throughout Colorado. All Westside providers are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many accept other major insurance plans as well. Flexible scheduling and multiple specialties make it easier to find a therapist who aligns with your needs and goals.
