Yes! Nearly all of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and other insurance plans, for mental health services in Colorado. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment or verify coverage, call 303-986-4197 or visit our Kaiser providers page.
Our in-network providers do not require a referral or prior authorization to see Kaiser Permanente patients with Colorado-based plans. Patients with out-of-state plans and some psychiatric services may require a prior authorization. If one is needed, our team can request one on your behalf to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions about your coverage, please contact our team at info@westsidebehavioral.com for assistance.
Of course! You can browse our Kaiser provider profiles accepting new patients here. Our team is also available to help you find a therapist who meets your needs, insurance, and location. Feel free to call 303-986-4197 for phone assistance, email us at info@westsidebehavioral.com, or submit a contact form to connect with us.
First responders carry the unique burden of protecting others while often putting their own emotional needs aside. The chronic exposure to critical incidents, traumatic events, and life-threatening situations can lead to symptoms like hypervigilance, irritability, nightmares, emotional numbness, or feelings of isolation. These stress responses are common and understandable but can interfere with well-being and relationships if left unaddressed. Whether you’re struggling with the aftermath of a particular event or feeling the cumulative impact of the job, you’re not alone.
Therapists at Westside Behavioral Care are experienced in working with first responders and their families. Our clinicians use proven therapies such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based approaches to help reduce trauma symptoms, regulate emotions, and restore a sense of personal control. Treatment is always tailored to your experiences and preferences, with the goal of helping you feel safer, more connected, and more empowered in both your professional and personal life. Therapy can also provide tools for communication, stress management, and career sustainability over the long term.
We offer therapy in person throughout the Greater Denver Area, including Westminster, Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, and Centennial, as well as online anywhere in Colorado. All providers are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many accept other major insurance plans as well. You can search for a therapist based on specialty, location, age group, or insurance coverage to find the right fit. Our team is also happy to assist you by phone or email to make getting started as smooth as possible.
