Yes! Nearly all of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and other insurance plans, for mental health services in Colorado. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment or verify coverage, call 303-986-4197 or visit our Kaiser providers page.
Our in-network providers do not require a referral or prior authorization to see Kaiser Permanente patients with Colorado-based plans. Patients with out-of-state plans and some psychiatric services may require a prior authorization. If one is needed, our team can request one on your behalf to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions about your coverage, please contact our team at info@westsidebehavioral.com for assistance.
Of course! You can browse our Kaiser provider profiles accepting new patients here. Our team is also available to help you find a therapist who meets your needs, insurance, and location. Feel free to call 303-986-4197 for phone assistance, email us at info@westsidebehavioral.com, or submit a contact form to connect with us.
Chronic pain isn’t just a physical sensation, it can take a toll on every area of your life. Whether it stems from an injury, medical condition, nerve disorder, or has no clear cause at all, persistent pain can impact your sleep, mood, energy, relationships, and sense of identity. It’s not uncommon to experience feelings of frustration, hopelessness, or isolation when the pain doesn’t go away and others may not fully understand what you’re going through. Chronic pain affects people of all ages and backgrounds, often becoming a quiet, invisible burden that shapes daily routines and long-term plans.
Therapists at Westside Behavioral Care offer supportive, evidence-based strategies to help clients manage the emotional impact of chronic pain. Many use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reframe pain-related thought patterns and reduce the intensity of emotional distress. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help individuals build a life around their values, even in the presence of pain, while mindfulness-based approaches often support relaxation and nervous system regulation. Depending on your needs, therapy may include pacing techniques, stress reduction, or grief support related to lost function or independence. You might consider asking your therapist about their experience treating chronic pain and what approaches they find most effective.
Care is available both in person at offices across the Greater Denver Area and through secure online therapy anywhere in Colorado. All Westside Behavioral Care therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many also accept other major insurance plans. You deserve support that meets you where you are, mentally, physically, and logistically, and we’re here to help you find the right path forward.
