Our automated system did not find a provider that matches your needs. However, our receptionists are better equipped to match you with a qualified provider. Please call 303-986-4197 to speak with one of our friendly receptionists or email info@westsidebehavioral.com to receive one-on-one help.
Yes! Nearly all of our therapists accept Kaiser Permanente insurance, and other insurance plans, for mental health services in Colorado. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. To schedule an appointment or verify coverage, call 303-986-4197 or visit our Kaiser providers page.
Our in-network providers do not require a referral or prior authorization to see Kaiser Permanente patients with Colorado-based plans. Patients with out-of-state plans and some psychiatric services may require a prior authorization. If one is needed, our team can request one on your behalf to make the process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions about your coverage, please contact our team at info@westsidebehavioral.com for assistance.
Of course! You can browse our Kaiser provider profiles accepting new patients here. Our team is also available to help you find a therapist who meets your needs, insurance, and location. Feel free to call 303-986-4197 for phone assistance, email us at info@westsidebehavioral.com, or submit a contact form to connect with us.
Westside Behavioral Care offers one of Colorado’s largest networks of mental health providers (LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, PsyD/PhDs, PMHNPs, etc) dedicated to Kaiser Permanente patients statewide. Established in 1998 with the mission of making appointment scheduling as easy and convenient as possible, Westside’s licensed therapists serve thousands of patients a year by providing supportive counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and more. Appointments are available through in-person sessions across the Denver metro area (Aurora, Lakewood, Littleton, Boulder, Arvada, etc.) and convenient online therapy statewide.
Thanks to our partnership with Kaiser, members can expect quick access to care (often in as little as 48 hours) without worrying about prior authorizations or referrals. Nearly all Westside therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, meaning you get the care you need at in-network rates. Our team will verify your benefits and share them with your therapist ahead of your first appointment so you’re fully informed going into your first session.
True to our mission, we make scheduling easy for everyone. You can choose your preferred therapist by using our scheduling tool available 24/7, call our friendly receptionists (available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm MST) at (303) 986-4197, complete one of the many contact forms on our website, or email info@westsidebehavioral.com for personal assistance. Our patient-focused approach is designed to give Kaiser members in Colorado a stress-free, positive experience.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental difference that affects how a person communicates, interacts socially, and experiences the world. It’s called a “spectrum” because every individual with autism is unique, some may need significant support with daily living, while others live independently but may face challenges with sensory sensitivity, social anxiety, or emotional regulation. ASD can present in childhood or go undiagnosed until adolescence or adulthood. Common traits include difficulty with transitions, intense focus on specific interests, struggles with unspoken social cues, or a need for predictable routines. While autism is not something to be “cured,” the right support can help individuals thrive in their own authentic way.
Therapists at Westside Behavioral Care offer tailored, person-centered support for individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as guidance for families and caregivers. Depending on each client’s goals and age, therapy may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), social skills training, or sensory-informed strategies that respect neurodiversity. For clients navigating co-occurring issues like anxiety, depression, or executive functioning challenges, therapists may also use structured skill-building and mindfulness tools. Parents or caregivers may want to ask about collaborative approaches or behavioral support models like ABA-adjacent techniques that are affirming rather than rigid. Our goal is to support growth, reduce stress, and build confidence in navigating relationships, emotions, and everyday environments.
Support for ASD is available both in person at offices throughout the Greater Denver Area and through secure telehealth sessions anywhere in Colorado. All providers at Westside Behavioral Care are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many also work with other major insurance plans. Whether you’re looking for help with social development, emotional regulation, or simply a therapist who understands autism, we’re here to make care easy to access and tailored to your needs.
